Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is an upcoming action-adventure open world video game published by Ubisoft. It is the sixth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series and a prequel to Assassin's Creed III.
The game stars a new pirate assassin and turns its focus to the Caribbean, mixing open-ended ship-based exploration and combat with land-based adventures on a number of Caribbean islands. The game will follow the sailor, privateer and Assassin Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway and grandfather of Ratonhnhaké:ton (Connor), the playable characters of Assassin's Creed III.
