The Last of Us Part II has a new release date, Ghost of Tsushima postponed until July

Sony wasn't having the best start to the new week. Late last night, one allegedly former employee of the Naughty Dog development team, who failed to successfully resolve the pay dispute, put together most of the shop for The Last of Us Part II. Although most of the videos have been removed, you can still find all the information posted on various forums if you want to search. Players who do not want their story spoiled are advised to avoid Reddit and social media until things have cooled down, as there are people who leave spoilers in the comments at the memorial.

Naughty Dog did not officially announce, confirm or deny the credibility of the announcements, but Sony had a need to announce a new release date, despite being told last month that the game had been delayed until further notice. The main reason then was that the development team wanted all players to play this much-anticipated and brutal action game at the same time, making the pandemic complicated by physical copies at the moment, only now it seems less important.

Through an official blog, we were briefed that The Last of Us Part II will be out on June 19, and Ghost of Tsushima, the latest game from the Sucker Punch development team, will now arrive a little later. The action takes place in feudal Japan and was due out June 26, and will now become available on July 17 instead.
