Xbox One S "Madden NFL 17" and "Halo" Bundles Revealed
-----------Microsoft has revealed that gamers will get to choose between two different Xbox One S bundles, with one having Madden NFL 17 and the other the majority of the Halo series.
The release of the Xbox One S is approaching, and Microsoft has announced some console and game bundles to make the release even better. Gamers that are interested can now place pre-orders for a Xbox One S with a copy of Madden NFL 17 or almost the entire Halo series included.
Today, Microsoft announced the upcoming Madden and Halo bundles, which are both ready for pre-ordering and will also be available in stores. The 1TB Xbox One S bundled with Madden NFL 17 is going to be offered for $349, and will contain a code to download the Madden NFL 17 game, seven Madden Ultimate Team Pro Packs, and one month's subscription to EA Access for free. Those who pre-ordered the bundle through the official NFL Shop will also get a 20% discount on their next purchase from the shop.
Others that prefer to pick up a Halo bundle will have few more options. Two versions of the bundle exist: a 500GB Xbox One S, and a 1TB variant. Both of these bundles include Halo 5: Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and they cost $299 and $349, respectively. The Madden NFL 17 and Halo Bundles also include one controller, and they will be available on August 23rd.
For the sake of reference, Microsoft announced the $299 retail price for the 500GB Xbox One S and $349 for the 1TB model without any games or bonuses, so bundles such as these are a great choice for gamers who don't already own these games. These two bundles will follow the footsteps of Microsoft's other Xbox One bundles with greatly reduced prices, which have matched games like Quantum Break and Rise of the Tomb Raider with the original Xbox One console for the same cost as the console itself.
The Xbox One S will launch on August 23rd, 2016.
