Halfway

Since my very first article, I have been introducing to you another gaming experiences. 

A lot of times quite interesting games that differ from the ordinary and a few times, some very 

extraordinary ones such as, offcourse, Life is Strange or Pneuma: Breath of Life, for example. 

This gaming world of mine differs from the mainstream gaming world simply for I have been 

through almost every game of theese and they are really chosen and played by a much smaller 

groups of gamers and they have reached out so much smaller audiences than those blockbusters 

such as Counter-Strike, LoL, WoW, Dota, Warcraft, or those more modern such as Final Fantasy, 

The Walking Dead, Grand Theft Auto. Hovewer, even in this small list of, lets say, mainstream games, 

we have a good ones such as The Walking Dead who has really good emotional story around one of 

the main protagonists Clementine. However, I’m not into them simply because they are very well known 

and because of that, nothing new.

My point was, and it still is to approach some less known games and introduce them to this small audience 

of ours. Simply for that audience to pass on the word as a legacy to a wider audience and that might, just might, 

bring theese games up as the new mainstream which would be fantastic as mainstream games don’t necessairly 

mean that they are bad or easy accepted by the major audiences, its that they simply became extremely famous 

and sometimes that fame is solely due to their qualities. My second point is to bring in to you the sense of the 

future gaming world and the games of the future and that I’ve done through games such as Deus Ex or Syndicate or, 

even The Turing Test and I am certainly about to introduce even more futuristic games that are expected by 

even greater audiences and are up to come out or are really fresh and brand-new. Simply, we are entering a 

new gaming era and must be up to it in order to preserve our position in this virtual, gaming world of our. 

For this is our brave new world.
