Third Season of LoL Championship Series Announced
-----------Riot has announced plans for a third season of League of Legends Championship and it made happy numerous e-sport fans worldwide.
Riot has released details about the third season of League of Legends Championship Series, which will include regular matches and All-Star tournament. LCS for the first time is to oppose professional teams on a weekly basis with which it will be decided who will attend undoubtedly thrilling play-off stage competition.
The championship will feature eight teams from North America and Europe, each of which will play at 28 matches, and the competition will be divided in two parts. The first half is scheduled between 7 February and 20 April, while the second part of the competition takes place from 1 June to 31 August. Two of the best teams in this competition will ensure a place in the World Cup, which they believed could bring a hefty cash prize.
During the the two parts of the competition comes the aforementioned All-Star tournament in which the best players compete in each region, and it was reported that the role will be quite large, which means that fans of eSports in this part of the competition expects "fireworks".
