Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Though Infinity Ward lost half of the developing team during last year, the head runners of Activision gave their best not to destroy their multi-milion franchise. The new Modern Warfare is signed by Infinity Ward, but with the wholehearted support of Sledgehammer Games, while Raven Software dealt with the multiplayer componenet of the game. The reactions at the E3 show that there is no reason to worry, what\\\'s more, the newest addition to the game feels quite refreshed.
This fall we are awaiting perhaps the best Modern Warfare ever. The background story follows the Russian invasion of the USA, going through Europe and creating new fields of war in France, Germany and the United Kingdom. The campaign also covers Somalia, Sierra Leone, Moscow and Dubai. Captain John ,,Soap\\\'\\\' MacTavish, SAS Captain John Price and russian spy Nikolaj are still chasing the fleeing American sergeant Shephard and ultranationalist Makarov. Interesting new feature is the subscription service Elite, which is simillar to the one in WoW. The intention is that the CoD players stay connected through social networking while also keeping track of statistics from the multiplayer section available at all times. When you dig beyond the surface though, it seems that you don\\\'t get full value for your money with this system as you don\\\'t get any meaningful content, as is the case with EA offering Battlefield 3 players a simillar option.
