Writers
-----------Writers
Every game needs its own plot, its own live matter that animates the players and audiences. Here come in the writers.
They are the most essential part of the game. Without them, frankly there would be no game at all. They are also the
main reason for any sales of the game at all because of the story they had written. In fact, one games’ success in the
market is purely determined by the story of the game, by its plot. This is why companies need good writers with deep
imagination and sense of some either realism or irrationalism or futurism depending on what the company wants
from them for thier game.
Now, we would like to mention some honorable writers that made the existence of some extraordinary games to be reality.
Firstly, we would like to introduce to you the mastermind behind Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell series as well as the
Tom Clancy’s whole franchise, Tom Clancy. Tom Clancy was an author, novelist of technically detailed espionage and
millitary-science story lines set during and after the cold war. His novels were inspiration for the Ubisoft’s franchise
named after him, Tom Clancy which developed its espionage part in the sub-franchise, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell.
The whole franchise Tom Clancy’s is one tremendous work from Ubisoft, a lot of time, money and effort gave the
players unique experiences.
Our next writers are ofcourse, Jean Luc Cano and Christian Divine. Remember them?
Does the title “Life is Strange” ring any bells? Yes. That’s right. We must not omit them.
Those two people gave the gaming world so much with just but one game.
Their “Life is Strange”made big boom in the gaming world.
Jean Luc Cano was directly the author of the games’ plot and Christian Divine elimiated all the cliches that were
into the scripts due to the french viewpoint on the American way of life, which made Life is Strange to be complete
and real as Jean Luc would say: ”You Christian, you put realism in our fantasy of the American way of life.” This says it all.
