Total War: Warhammer 2 Announced for 2017
-----------Creative Assembly has revealed Total War: Warhammer 2 to the gaming world with an announcement trailer, as well as showing off a number of new playable races for the game.
The original Total War: Warhammer was a big hit for developer Creative Assembly, and right after its release fans of both the tabletop game and the Total War strategy series were asking for more. Fortunately, the next Warhammer game from the developer is coming soon - even sooner than some might have expected. Creative Assembly released an announcement trailer for Total War: Warhammer 2 today, with a first-look cinematic trailer.
By the look of it, fans of Warhammer can discover that Creative Assembly is planning to add a number of new races from the tabletop game into the fold. The trailer features a free-for-all battle between the High Elves, Dark Elves, and the Lizardmen. In the meantime, those who watch the video until the end will also get a look at another potential playable race - the Skaven.
Interestingly enough, Total War: Warhammer 2 is going to be arriving very soon. Judging by the trailer itself, the game is set to release at some point in 2017, which is a very quick turnaround considering that the first game only released last year and has been seeing lots of DLC releases as well. Those interested in learning more about the game can do so by checking out the full trailer below.
While details about the game are scarce at the moment, Creative Assembly has confirmed something very interesting regarding the game. It seems that Total War: Warhammer and Total War: Warhammer 2 will be able to slot together in the form of a mega campaign with an eventual update to the second title, complete with any Warhammer DLC the player has downloaded, combined with all the content together into a strategy sandbox.
Total War: Warhammer 2 is scheduled to arrive in 2017.
