Borderlands 2 gets an expansion

Rumors about the new Borderlands 2 were correct - Captain Scarlett DLC will arrive in a few days.

Shortly after Mechromancer DLC release, which appeared slightly earlier than planned, the Internet have spread rumors about another 2 Borderlands DLC, the precise expansion which should follow the adventures of Scarlett evil.

The expansion is titled "Captain Scarlet and her Pirate's Booty," which can be interpreted in many ways. Addition brings a new area called the Oasis in which according to the official description, be able to feel the magic of pirate life, despite the lack of water.

"You can sense the pirate theme across the landscape, even though there's no water. It's all dried up. It feels more like Tatooine than an ocean. These bandits have really embraced the pirate lifestyle, and there's the legend of a treasure. That kicks off this whole adventure that the players can go on." - said Gearbox Software president Randy Pitchford.

Players will confront new tasks such as battling new enemies like sand worms and access to a completely new vehicles called sand skiff. The DLC includes a new virtual currency - seraph crystals. Fans who dug up almost all of the files included in the original game claimed that the DLC will bring new bosses and raid. However, such information has not been confirmed.
DLC coming 16th October and will be available at a price of € 10 for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
