XCOM2: Alien Hunters DLC announced

This new addition to XCOM 2 allows transformation of soldiers into elite hunters of aliens who have reinforcements.

The mutual communication between 2K Games and the development team of Firaxis unveils the accessibility of this new DLC that goes by the name of Alien Hunters for the tactical strategy, XCOM 2.

This DLC features three new "Ruler" alien units to combat.

These new Rulers, including the Viper king, are quite formidable. They will show up at random times during your campaign, after you've completed the new narrative mission. Each will have unique behavior and tactics, so, don't expect them to act like their sub-ordinates. If a Ruler isn't taken out quick enough, it will leave to pursue and fight the soldiers another day.

XCOM 2: Alien Hunters includes four one of a kind weapons: The Bolt Caster, a high damage single-shot weapon; The Hunter's Axe, a powerful new blade weapon that can be thrown at enemies or used to take out enemies at close range; The ShadowKeeper pistol, which has the Shadowfall ability that is guaranteed to hit and will place its user in concealment if the enemy is killed; and The FrostBomb grenade, which is able to temporarily freeze targets. Be careful though, as each of these weapons is a prototype and if a soldier equipping these falls in battle, make sure to physically carry them to the Skyranger or you will permanently lose the weapon.

According to the official description, mentioning the DLC allows our chosen XCOM warriors to transform to an elite alien hunting squad. There are new powerful weapons and equipment which is necessary for hunting enemies of such lethality that come with this transformation.

Besides this possibilities, there are a lot of cosmetic addons and upgrades for the soldiers, including the Avenger, such as a new squad mission in which the deputy Bradford will lead a squad of soldiers with the help of an "old friend".
