Warface Launched for Xbox 360
-----------Crytek's first free to play game Warface released on Xbox Live.
Warface was previously available during its Xbox 360 beta. Players who participated in the beta don't need to re-download the game, just a title update the next time the game is played. Anything purchased or earned during the beta will be transferred to the live version.
On Xbox 360, Warface requires an Xbox Live Gold ($60/year) subscription, so it is not free exactly. The game is built on CryEngine 3, and features four soldier classes, as well as competitive and cooperative modes. Crytek plans to release new missions daily.
SO far Warface has attracted more than 25 million players across PC and Xbox 360, though Crytek hasn't released any data to reveal how commercially successful the game is.
