Titanfall Open Beta?
-----------Developer Respawn said that an open beta is "possible" after the alpha test has concluded.
This news come courtesy of community manager Abbie Heppe, who tweeted a fan to confirm that an open beta is very much a possibility.
Currently Titanfall is going through its alpha test, though only those invited via email are getting a chance to try the game out. The open beta will allow a much larger number of people the chance to try the game out ahead of its launch, and opportunity to properly stress test the servers.
Earlier it was revealed that Titanfall matches would be capped at six human players per team. With the explanation that Respawn gave us we learned that with Titans and AI bots there could be as much as 48 combatants in every single match.
Titanfall will launch for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on March 11, 2014 in North America and March 13, 2014 in Europe and Australia. Those who opt for the Collector's Edition will receive some sweet bonuses. Respawn got together with Microsoft and announced a Titanfall themed wireless controller for the Xbox One. It is also known that Titanfall will not have mod support at launch.
