Titanfall 2's Latest Trailer Focuses on Pilots
-----------The newest gameplay trailer for developer Respawn Entertainment's upcoming first-person shooter Titanfall 2 focuses on combat for the title's Pilots.
For those who missed out on the first entry in Respawn Entertainment's first-person shooter franchise, Pilots are operators of the Titan classes which players will be controlling across the majority of the game. While the Titans can be likened to an extension to the Pilot's body, when actually outside of the mechs, players will have the ability to recreate the massive robots' actions to some extent during ground fights, which is displayed in the studio's latest gameplay trailer.
As seen in the latest video for Titanfall 2 below, Pilots will be able to double-jump, make use of a hover mechanic to travel across long gaps, and can even commit to fluid boots of wall-running in the same in which futuristic soldiers can in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Naturally, all of these skills give characters the capacity to take out enemies with a deadly amount of speed and precision.
Titanfall 2 players will not only be able to execute quick bursts of seamless wall to air to ground action, but fans will also have the opportunity to do so in style because the game offers a huge amount of visual customization for the Pilots and Titans alike. As one would expect, however, the colors, paints, patterns, logos, and body types used on the player's avatar won't actually have any effect on the power of any of the moves that can be executed.
With all of this considered, besides the recent news that Titanfall 2's developers are making huge improvements to the game thanks to its beta feedback, it appears as if Respawn Entertainment is ready to put out a follow-up that's head and shoulders above the original when it comes to innovations in development. However, with less than a month left to go before Titanfall 2's release date, it's crucial for fans to keep a healthy dose of skepticism about its quality until the final product officially launches.
