The Division Update 1.2 Increases Phoenix Credit Cap, Nerfs Brutal Talent & More

Massive Entertainment developer has yet to release the official patch notes for The Divison's update 1.2, but the studio still continues to tease more major changes that will follow.

During State of the Game show, devs outlined some tweaks and improvements to the game. The Division major Update 1.2 is said to drop some time in May, but no official date has been discussed.
With the new Incursion planned to release some time in May, there's strong indications that the update should follow at the same time.

With Update 1.2 receiving buffs to the loot and almost all of the major activities, the next changes in this package will be smaller and important for keeping the game balanced. More on what this update will contain is listed below.

- no weapon rebalance in 1.2
- brutal talent nerfed, now the bonus is additive not multiplicative
- sentry set: 4 talent bonus now only works with semi automatic weapons (shotgun, markmansrife, pistol, etc.)
- new gear sets in 1.2
- gear talents: reckless/balanced fixed
- talent stacking bug fixed
- performance gear mods getting buffed
- new stat: toughness - replaces health display in main character screen
- armor cap beeing increased
- voice indicator in ui
- PxC Cap increased to 2000
- no new gearscore items

Sentry Set applying 4 piece bonus to semi automatic weapons is expected to take place in this Update 1.2, as the increase on the Phoenix Credit Cap, with more fixes to the Reckless and Balanced talents plus the buff for Performance Gear Mods.

Some unexpected changes include the nerf to the Brutal talent, which is said to have been multiplicative, new addition of gear sets will be introduced, the increase in the armor cap, and a reworked health stat on players info screen. Instead of Health, player info screen will show details on loadout Toughness which will take into account both the health and armor.

As mentioned before in this story, there is no release date set for when this update 1.2 will appear and it's unclear if this is the full list of changes yet.
