Rayman Legends Announced for Next-Gen
-----------Yesterday during an earnings call, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that Rayman Legends will be available for next-gen consoles in February 2014.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot while speaking to investors, during an earnings call said "Rayman next gen is coming in February."
Ubisoft's representative confirmed that Rayman Legends will indeed be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in February.
"As mentioned during our earnings call today, we're planning to release Rayman Legends for the PS4 and the Xbox One in February. We will have more information to share on this at a later date."
Ubisoft also reported that Rayman Legends has sold roughly 1 million copies, and that Ubisoft expects the game demand to go up once the next-gen consoles are released.
"The PS4 and Xbox One will be released in a few days’ time and will be a new driving force for the industry,” Guillemot said in a statement. “We are confident in our capacity to rise to the short-term challenges posed by the transition phase, thanks to the very high quality of our games, which, combined with the upcoming arrival of the next-generation consoles and the traditional ramp-up of sales during the Christmas season will trigger positive momentum towards the end of the year."
