Next Star Wars game Will be Free-to-Play
-----------Disney Interactive revealed Star Wars: Attack Squadrons, which will be a PC space-combat game that will let players customize their vehicles.
Disney announced the game saying "Star Wars : Attack Squadrons is a free-to-play online space combat game where players customize iconic Star Wars ships and engage in high-velocity 16 player dogfights in fabled Star Wars locations.
Attack Squadrons bears a strong resemblance to the Nintendo 64 Rogue Squadron series, when we look at the screenshots and video from the announcement. Players will be able to pilot classic Star Wars ships such as the X-Wing or TIE Interceptor, with the possibility to have these and many more vehicles customized and tuned.
Up to 16 players can be involved in multiplayer battles, battles which will take place in "iconic Star Wars locations."
Attack Squadrons will be the first game from developer Area 52 Games, and everyone is invited to sign up for the beta on the game's official website. Invites are set to be sent sometime in 2014.
