Metal Gear Online Getting "Survival" Mode
-----------Also Konami has made it easier to level up.
Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's multiplayer mode, Metal Gear Online is getting a new DLC. The dlc will introduce additional maps and Survival mode.
"New DLC planned for MGO, including new maps, Survival, and more! Further details to come"
Also Konami, released the 1.02 Metal Gear Online update, which makes it easier to level up (required amount of XP has been reduced for each level) and changes weapon values. In particular, the update increases the lethal shotgun' knockback range. On top of that, draw speed has been reduced for machine guns and the SERVAL AMR-7 gun.
Adjustments were also made to MGO's Stun Grenade.
"In version 1.01, even if you are not facing the point of the explosion you can find yourself temporarily blinded due to the flash, however in Ver. 1.02 as long as you are facing away from the explosion, you will not be affected," Konami said.
In future updates, the game's revive system will be tweaked.
"In previous MGO titles, it took a little more effort than a single kick to wake up your knocked out allies," Konami said. "Listening to player feedback, we're looking into requiring that extra effort to wake up your allies, so that there is greater risk when you stick your neck out to revive your friends."
