Ghost Recon: Wildlands PC Trailer Shows off Graphics Features

Ubisoft has officially released a PC trailer for the upcoming tactical shooter, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, to detail the platform's features and unlocked frame rate.

Since Ghost Recon: Wildlands is scheduled to release next week, Ubisoft has decided to release a PC trailer dedicated to showing off the different graphics features and how the upcoming tactical shooter will look with an uncapped frame rate. The footage released by the publisher and developer was captured on a GTX card, and fans can switch the settings to watch the Ghost Recon: Wildlands trailer at 60 FPS and with a resolution of up to 4K.

As seen in the trailer below, Ubisoft has added a wide variety of different technical features that will help the visuals of Ghost Recon: Wildlands to look much better such as HBAO+ - which makes shadows to appear more realistic - volumetric lightning, and "turf tech" that gives the grass additional level of verisimilitude and causes it to react accordingly to the wind and when the Ghosts are on foot. What's more, Ubisoft confirms that Wildlands uses Nvidia's recording tool, Ansel, allowing players to capture and share their gameplay.

Ubisoft also explains in the video that Ghost Recon: Wildlands on PC has an uncapped frame rate, in addition to "dozens" of various video options and presets. Those who want to know if their rigs will be able to handle the graphical might of Wildlands would do well to check out the upcoming game's PC specs right here.

Although Ghost Recon: Wildlands should look more beautiful on PC as compared to its console counterparts, at least fans on all platforms will be able to get the same post-launch content once they've burned through the title's base game. It seems that Ubisoft recently provided details about the tactical shooter's DLC pass and free PvP elements that are set to arrive sometime after the day one release of Wildlands.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is set to launch on March 7, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
