Fallout 4 Trademarked in Europe

Bethesda Softworks LLC has trademarked the Fallout 4 name in Europe.

A post on the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Markets website has revealed that Bethesda has trademarked the Fallout 4 name in Europe.

The website serves as the official trademark office of the European Union. According to the post, Bethesda Softworks LLC the Fallout series developer made the application, which has been marked with the date of receipt as November 14, 2013.

Earlier this month, Zenimax Bethesda's parent company registered a website with a countdown clock which suggested an announcement to be made on December 10. The Spike Video Game Awards show now renamed as VGX and set for December 7 might be the place where Fallout 4 will be revealed at.

In april Bethesda Game Studios announced that it has moved onto its next major project after finishing downloadable content for Skyrim.

The rumored Fallout 4 is speculated to be set in Boston.

Bethesda also recently trademarked Starfield and Soulburst, as well as the Void Engine, none of which have been announced.
