Expected Sales Revealed for Watch Dogs and The Crew
-----------Ubisoft revealed how many copies it wants to sell for both Watch Dogs and The Crew.
During an investor conference call, the company spoke about their hopes for the delayed games and the ones on time.
CFO Alain Martinez said Ubisoft is "still in line" with its Watch Dogs projections despite the delay until spring 2014 and is expected to sell 6.5 million copies. However when he spoke about The Crew's delay he said "In the case of The Crew, as you know it's a driving game, so it's more limited potential," Martinez said about The Crew compared to Watch Dogs. "We generally had spoken to about over 2.5 million units. We'll see where we go. And we believe that we have nice potential for the future."
Martinez also spoke of the sales expectations for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. He said the game is not expected to match Assassin's Creed III's 12 million copies sold, but it will come somewhere above 10 million copies.
