Doom 4 at QuakeCon?

Doom 4 is rumored to be launched early next month at QuakeCon. Id and Bethesda have not yet officially confirmed.

Judging by unconfirmed rumors, id Software on recent QuakeCon could officially introduce Doom 4th. On the new Doom is working for years and the game itself is apparently finally almost ready for the first public presentation. However, there is no official confirmation yet, so it is worth to mention that nothing its certain. Doom 4 development is stuck in April this year, when anonymous sources from id Software revealed that work is not proceeding according to plans. But, Bethesda stated that they definitely not given up the project.

Doom 4 has been announced yet 2008th year, when they briefly revealed some details of the actions and scenario of the game. However, id Software shortly afterwards dedicated the work to Rage and Doom has been put aside. 2011th year, after the release of Rage, id Software's supposedly all development departments once devoted entirely to Doom 4th. QuakeCon 2013 will take place between 1 and 4 August, and then we can probably hope for new details about the current status of the project.
