New Dawn of War announced
-----------The new chapter of Dawn of War series should be finished the following year, more information as things progress.
After almost five years of Company of Heroes 2 development, Relic Entertainment has announced Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III, the third edition of the famous Relic Entertainment's RTS game series.
As before, players will be found in a brutal galactic war, in a battle which they will lead elite heroes and massive armies into victory, but also bitter defeats that were not rare in any of the predecessors in this series.
In Dawn of War III you will have no choice but to face your foes when a catastrophic weapon is found on the mysterious world of Acheron. With war raging and the planet under siege by the armies of greedy Ork warlord Gorgutz, ambitious Eldar seer Macha, and mighty Space Marine commander Gabriel Angelos, supremacy must ultimately be suspended for survival.
Dawn of War III will combine the epic conflicts of the first chapter with the customization options and elite heroes of the previous edition which should ultimately result in an extensive strategic experience, exceptional graphical appearance and a "catastropic surprise" with upheavals during gameplay.
The game will also feature "super-walker" units, which as the executive producer of the game, Stephen MacDonald described them as "our greatest units ever", which is why the
players can only guess what this game model will offer.
It's not bad to mention that the first Dawn of War was published 12 years ago and so far, the whole series achieved sales of over seven million copies.
Warhammer: Dawn of War III will arrive in 2017 on PC, but the exact release date is not yet defined. This announcement of a new Dawn of War release follows with a commemorative video trailer that can be seen below.
