We'll See Alan Wake 2 "When the Time is Right"
-----------Developer Remedy Entertainment would like to return to the Alan Wake franchise in the future.
The creator of the Max Payne series, Finnish developer Remedy Entertainment is busy working on its 2015's Xbox One game, Quantum Break, but it would like to continue the Alan Wake franchise some time in the future.
"We're really, really proud of all the games we have made," said creative director Sam Lake. "And obviously all of them are dear to us. They have a special place in our hearts. You never know about the future and as have we have said about Alan Wake, the sequel didn't work out at this point. But definitely we are looking for opportunities to do more, someday, when the time is right."
The original Alan Wake was launched in 2012 for Xbox 360, and PC in 2012. A standalone entry, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, was also released in 2012. Overall, the Alan Wake series have sold more than 3 million copies, according to Remedy.
