Warface Attracted 5 Million Players
-----------Five million Russians leapt Crytek's free-to-play shooter Warface.
Crytek Warface once again confirmed the well-known fact that for some time now Russians appriciates free-to-play model. Since its launch Warface, in fact, has attracted as many as 5 million players in Russia alone. This news comes just a few days after the game has received an award for the best online game in Russia, which probably greatly suits Crytek.
“Reaching the five million registered users mark speaks volumes about the quality and appeal of Warface. With a combination of first-class visuals and game play that is second to none, Warface stands out from the crowd and promises to attract even more attention from players in the future,” said Mail.Ru's Vladimir Nikolsky.
Warface should probably arrive in Europe and the U.S. in near future, as it is scheduled, and the publisher role in Western markets will be taken over by the experienced Trion Worlds.
