Take-Two CEO Teases BioShock Creator's Next Game
-----------The game is "highly creative and innovative."
While BioShock creator Ken Levine's new project remains largely a mystery, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has revealed that the game will be "highly creative and innovative."
"I'm not going to steal Ken's thunder, but we're thrilled to be in business with Ken," Zelnick said today at the MKM Partners Investor Day conference in New York City. "What I can say is you would expect that Ken would work on something highly creative and innovative. I think that would be a reasonable expectation for whatever he does next."
As for the BioShock series, it's now being developed by 2K Games in California. Zelnick previously said that the BioShock franchise still has lots of room to grow commercially and creatively, a point he reiterated today.
"The franchise is in the hands of 2K," Zelnick said. "They'll make announcements in due time about any upcoming releases. But BioShock is unquestionably a permanent franchise for our company and one that we do believe in."
