Rise of Nations to be Re-Released in June
-----------Visual improvements, Steam integration, and Twitch support are some of the features Rise of Nations: Extended Edition will have.
Microsoft has announced that it has acquired the rights to the Rise of Nations franchise, to celebrate this they will be re-releasing Rise of Nations next month.
The game is known as Rise of Nations: Extended Edition, which will include both the original Rise of Nations and its expansion, Thrones and Patriots. Available exclusively through Steam and will make use of Steamworks for multiplayer. It supports achievements, trading cards, and cloud saves, as well Twitch integration so that players can stream their matches online.
No specific release date was announced, Extended Edition will simply be coming sometime in June. It'll cost $20 upon release, although a 20% discount for pre-orders on Steam brings that down to $16 (or $48 for a four-pack).
