Pokemon Sun and Moon Legendaries Revealed In Latest Trailer

-----------
.....

Nintendo released a new trailer for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon that officially revealed the games' new legendary Pokemon, detailing their new moves and types.

They are the cover stars of their respective games, and millions of gamers captivated by Pokemon's charm and monster fights will immediately include the legendary creatures in their Pokemon lineups.

Luckily for fans around the world, Nintendo has confirmed what they can expect from Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon's new legendaries. The new trailer that was released earlier today goes into detail about Solagleo, the emissary of the sun that looks like a kind of space lion, and Lunala, the emissary of the moon that appears regal and mysterious. These two Pokemons are Psychic base-types, even though Solagleo is also a Steel-type while Lunala is also a Ghost-type.

Fans already knew what the two new legendaries will look like thanks to an earlier reveal that included the new starter Pokemon for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon as well, but the new details are an exciting promise nonetheless. There has only been one Psychic/Ghost-type in Pokemon's history up to this point, and only six Psychic/Steel-types, so both Lunala and Solagleo will bring something quite unique to the table, they're likely going to be the strongest iterations of these type fusions gamers have ever seen.

The legendaries will also have some capable implications for the competitive Pokemon video game scene, as Solagleo and Lunala have new abilities that haven't yet existed in any of the previous games. Solagleo owns the Full Metal Body ability, which offers immunity to stat variations, and Lunala has a Shadow Shield ability, which means it takes less damage from attacks that hit it when it's on full HP.

Solagleo and Lunala are more evidence that Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will be a return to form for the Pokemon series, a strong appearance that could captivate a whole new generation of Pokemon trainers once it arrives later this year.
