Microsoft Testing Cheaper Xbox One Digital Prices
-----------Ryse: Son of Rome will be the game which will explore cheaper Xbox One digital game prices.
Microsoft has announced that the gladiatorial game will be receiving a discount in the run up to the release of new DLC, but studio manager Mike Ybarra has cleared up that this is also being done in response to fans requesting for less expensive titles.
"Lot of people asked for better deals on our digital marketplace, so we’re testing some…" he wrote on Twitter.
For the period between February 18 to February 24, the Games on Demand version of Ryse: Son of Rome will be available for $39.99 / £34.99, with even more discounts planned for add-ons every day between February 25 and February 27, ahead of the release of the Mars' Chosen Pack DLC on February 28.
Ybarra concluded by tweeting, "That’s far better than the used price at GameStop and others! Go digital!"
The DLC will add new maps, a new character skin, and a new co-operative Survival Mode.
