Mad Max Delayed for 2015
-----------Avalanche Studio postpones car-combat game for a release in 2015, new trailer also revealed.
Today Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios announced that its upcoming car-combat game Mad Max has been delayed from 2014 to 2015.
The new 2015 date was revealed through a new UK trailer for the game, though the North American version of the same trailer did not show the new date. So a Warner Bros. representative came out with an announcement saying: "Yes, 2015 is the official release window for Mad Max."
Avalanche Studios did not reveal the cause behind Mad Max's delay. Mad Max was first announced during E3 2013 last summer and was originally planned for release this year for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The game follows a "lone warrior who must embark on a perilous journey after his Interceptor is stolen by a deadly gang of marauders."
"A reluctant hero with an instinct for survival, Max wants nothing more than to leave the madness behind and find solace in the storied 'Planes of Silence."
In order to survive, Max must align himself with a gifted, but peculiar, mechanic named Chumbucket and others to build the ultimate war vehicle -- the Magnum Opus.
