LawBreakers Trailer Focuses On New Gunslinger Character
-----------Boss Key Productions revealed a new trailer for LawBreakers during The Game Awards 2016 that features unique gravity-defying gameplay and a new character, Gunslinger.
The trailer shows off LawBreakers' main selling point - defying gravity - as characters rush across the map, knifing and shooting each other into oblivion. Even though it only lasts for one minute, the trailer packs enough action to satisfy any FPS gamer's appetite. During The Game Awards, co-founder of Boss Key Productions, Cliff Bleszinski, introduced viewers to the trailer, which gives a glimpse at a newly revealed character, the Gunslinger.
As shown in the video, and as explained by Bleszinski, Gunslinger can utilize his duel-wielding pistols to both shoot down enemies, and travel across the map in gravity-defying brilliance.
Blezinski also revealed that the beta of LawBreakers will arrive in 2017, and PC gamers who are interested can now sign up for the beta on the game's website. There's no official release date set yet for either the beta or game, though Bleszinski stated that both will be happening next year.
It seems that LawBreakers is shaking up the shooter genre by introducing new elements which cause players to take a more strategic approach to their run-and-gun adventures. Players will battle against friends and strangers in beautiful futuristic America maps, where everything from the landscape to gravity itself have been transformed and changed.
Players will be able to choose which role they'll play, either Law or Breakers. As the name implies, the Law are those who look to uphold the civil laws of the land, while the Breakers are out for blood any way they can get it. At the time, there's no single-player campaign planned for the game. Multiplayer will include several maps and game modes.
LawBreakers will be coming sometime in 2017 on PC.
