Killzone: Shadow Fall is Completed
-----------Guerrilla Games has announced that Killzone: Shadow Fall is finished.
In different posts on Twitter, executive producer Angie Smets and game director Steven Ter Heide have confirmed that Shadow Fall has "gone gold," which means that the game's development is finished and the game is ready to be printed, packed, and shipped.
Additionally Ter Heide held a Q&A on the PlayStation Blog where he answered a bunch of fan questions. When asked how long will Shadow Fall's campaign will be he replied, "Killzone: Shadow Fall's campaign should last well over 10 hours for most gamers."
Ter Heide also confirmed that the game will not support co-op mode or split-screen, but a separate online co-op expansion pack, however it will be offered after launch.
Killzone: Shadow Fall will also have dedicated servers for multiplayer, and that vehicles like Exoskeletons or Jetpacks will not be supported in the multiplayer mode, at least not at launch.
"We wanted to ensure that player-created, custom Warzones work on all multiplayer maps, and the inclusion of vehicles would have introduced too many new variables and exceptions to guarantee this," he said.
Lastly, he confirmed there are no plans for the near future for any connectivity between PlayStation Vita's Killzone: Mercenary and Killzone: Shadow Fall.
