Doom Beta FAQ Released

Bethesda released Doom Beta FAQ, revealing the beta will be only available on PS4, Xbox One and PC only.

Today Bethseda released a FAQ, which answers some of the questions fans have been asking about the upcoming Doom Beta. As it was previously mentioned, the only method of participating right now is by pre-ordering Wolfenstein: The New Order.

Pre-ordering Wolfenstein on PS3 or PS4 will net you access to the PS4 Doom beta, while pre-ordering Wolfenstein the Xbox 360 or Xbox One version will get you into the Xbox One beta. With the PC version of the beta available to those who preorder the PC version of the game.

Physical editions of the game will contain a code that will get you in the beta, while Bethesda is working with Sony, Microsoft and Steam to figure out the best way to get digital pre-orders in.

Bethesda also announced that Xbox Live Gold membership will be required to participate in the Xbox One Doom beta, while the PlayStation 4 won't require a PS Plus subscriber.

While all of this information was revealed, Bethesda did not disclose a launch date for the beta, or if there will be an open beta somewhere further down the line.
