Dark Souls 2 PC Release Date Revealed

Dark Souls II for PC was finally given a release date, developer From Software revealed today that the game will launch April 25 for PC on Steam. With the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game releasing next week on March 11.
The PC version of Dark Souls II will feature "increased texture resolution" and an "enhanced frame-rate option," From Software wrote on a post on Facebook. The developer also promises that the game's controls have been "perfectly" adapted to mouse and keyboard.
Those who preorder Dark Souls II on Steam will receive a digital soundtrack and early access to the Black Armor Weapon Set, as well as the official Dark Souls II artbook in PDF format and the complete Dark Souls II digital comic book.
Dark Souls II has yet to receive its system requirements. Bandai Namco announced recently that the game's preorders are 50 percent more than the 2011 original, and that the publisher will invest £1 million ($1.6 million) into marketing the game in the United Kingdom alone.
