Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta Schedule Announced
-----------Activision revealed more info about Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's multiplayer beta, as well as specific release dates for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Unfortunately, additional details on the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer beta haven't been shared by Activision just yet. Fans are still clueless as to which maps they can look forward to battling it out on, much less what weapons they will use, or what special Combat Rigs will they be able to use.
However, Activision promised to reveal the details in the upcoming weeks, so expect more information on the Infinite Warfare beta to be revealed soon.
While waiting for more details on Infinite Warfare's multiplayer beta to come out, it's going to be interesting to see how fans will react to Activision shortchanging Xbox One gamers. Activision hasn't been keeping secrets about the fact that the Infinite Warfare beta is a timed PS4 exclusive, but despite that, giving PS4 players 10 days of beta time versus three days for Xbox owners seems a little excessive.
It's likely that the Infinite Warfare beta will receive a surprise extension, like most popular betas tend to do, but in any case, Xbox gamers are still given less time to try out the game compared to PS4 owners. However, seeing as how heavily Activision has favored Sony this generation, it may come as no surprise.
It appears as though Infinite Warfare favors PS4 over Xbox much more than Black Ops III. Aside from the fact that PS4 gamers are receiving a lot more time to play the multiplayer beta, they also get access to DLC 30 days earlier. Moreover, Infinite Warfare will feature upgraded visuals when played on a PS4 Pro, and not to mention the PS4 version's exclusive virtual experience that won't be available on Xbox or PC.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is going to be available on November 4th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
