Battlefield 4 to Receve Multiplatform Patch This Month
-----------DICE reports that it is currently finalizing the latest game update, and hopes to release it this month.
The bugs that plagued Battlefield 4's launch may come to an end by this month DICE reports on their BF4 Control Room.
"Just a short note that we are finalizing the next game update for multiple platforms, aiming to release them later this month. Stay tuned for the full details here in the Battlefield 4 Control Room."
The patch is being finalized by the Swedish developer, but it is still not clear which specific problems in Battlefield 4 it will address. DICE is currently investigating a range of problems that continue to beset Battlefield 4.
One of the worst problems that currently affect all platforms and is detailed in the Battlefield 4 Top Issues Tracker is "desynchronized" game world, where objects have different states for different players. Some of the other problems that affect all platforms include rubber-banding, frame rate drops, and some instances of players not taking damage even when they're shot.
Despite numerous patches and updates, Battlefield 4 still suffers numerous issues, with the most pronounced problems affecting the PlayStation 4 version. Thus publisher Electronic Arts found itself in a class-action lawsuit.
