Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4 and The Crew Unavailable on Steam UK and US
-----------Three of the biggest Ubisoft games will be only available in the US and UK via Uplay.
Ubisoft has confirmed that three of its biggest games due for release this year will not be available on Steam in the UK and US.
Far Cry 4, Assassin’s Creed Unity and The Crew will only be available to PC gamers in Britain via Ubisoft's Uplay store. However, a Ubisoft representative said that the decision was not final.
"We’ve been in discussions with Valve about Assassin’s Creed Unity but for the time being the game is not available via Steam in the UK," Ubisoft said.
"In the meantime, UK customers wishing to purchase the game digitally can do so by visiting the Uplay store, our retail partners or other digital distributors."
While the Steam editions are not available in the UK and US, they can still be purchased digitally via Uplay and GreenManGaming.
For now Ubisoft has yet to reveal the reason, though games have not appeared on Steam due to legal reasons.
