Activision Announces The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Release Date

The game and the movie will release on the same day, Activision reveals.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be available on April 29 in North America and May 2 in Europe, also Activision revealed pre-order bonuses.

Players who opt to pre-order the game on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 or PC from either Gamestop in North America or GAME in the UK will receive four special in-game suits, each possessing unique combat bonuses. The costumes are the red and gold Iron Spider Suit, the blue and white Cosmic Spider-Man Suit, the Venom-like Black Suit and the Spider-Man Noir Suit.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is Beenox’s fourth game in the Spider-Man franchise after they were tasked with developing games for the franchise in 2010. Even though the game is based on the movie it will have a story that is completely independent of the film.

The game will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, 3DS and PC, with North America's PC version will be only available digitally.
