Sonic CD PS3 Game
od ovdeShort description
If you’ve played any of the Sega Genesis era Sonic games you’ll be very familiar with the style of play in Sonic CD. For those of you who have, somehow, never played or even watched an old Sonic game, this is a 2-D platformer. What set Sonic apart, back in the day, was the speed of the game. Back in the days when Mario was king, his adventures were all about precision platforming, where Sonic allowed gamers to zip through levels at breakneck speeds with a ‘come what may’ attitude.
Sonic CD embraces this attitude and, like it’s predecessors, it’s all about finding the right line that allows you to zip through the level without hitting any obstacles or encountering any enemies. The fact that this game was ported to widescreen helps a lot when trying to make a split-second decision in where to direct your spinning hedgehog next.
Unfortunately, widescreen is the only real enhancement you’ll get with this version of the game. Sonic CD remains largely untouched in its XBLA incarnation and only features the main story mode and a Time Attack mode in which you can compete for leaderboard scores.
This game is also available on X360
