The second part of Resident Evil 7 DLC called Banned Footage Vol. 2, is now available for PlayStation 4 players and is set to arrive later for Xbox One owners.

Last month, Resident Evil 7 was released to critical acclaim and has already generated some impressive sales numbers, managing to log in the 3rd best launch week debut in franchise history. Although many would be happy to take it slow after having a title ship 2.5 million copies in its first week, Capcom isn't planning on stepping back just yet. After the release of the first batch of post-launch DLC - titled Banned Footage Vol. 2 - almost two weeks ago, the studio have now released the second pack for those who want more survival-horror thrills.

Titled Banned Footage Vol. 2, this second part of Resident Evil 7 post-launch DLC is now available to PlayStation 4 players and is set to arrive on Xbox One on February 24. Following the same structure as Banned Footage Vol. 1, the focus in Banned Footage Vol. 2 will again be on the Baker family and contains three new orders ordeals for players to tackle:

- 21: Gamble life and limb in a deadly game run by Lucas Baker.
- Daughters: See what the Baker family was like before the tragic events of Resident Evil 7.
- Jack’s 55th Birthday: Race against the clock and feed Jack tons of food in this comical extra game mode that’s separate from the tapes and story of the main game.

The first two game modes are canon to the main Resident Evil 7 narrative and help fill in some story gaps, much like the various videotapes featured in the game do. In regards to the third mode, not only is this a lighthearted, non-canon chapter, PlayStation VR owners will have to be satisfied without the use of the headset as this game mode doesn't support it.

For those who want to pick up Resident Evil 7's Banned Footage Vol. 2 DLC, there are two different ways in which it can be done. This new expansion can be purchased as a standalone item for $15, or it can be bought alongside the earlier Banned Footage Vol. 1 DLC and a currently-unknown story expansion as a part of the $30 season pass.

Resident Evil 7 is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Banned Vol. 2 DLC is now available for PlayStation 4 and is scheduled for launch on February 24 for Xbox One.
