Recommended Requirements for Resident Evil 7 Revealed

Capcom officially published the minimum and recommended system requirements for the PC version of its upcoming survival horror title, Resident Evil 7.

Other than the ERSB rating board's story details for Resident Evil 7, not a lot more is known about the game in way of concrete specifics. Despite this being the case, Capcom has at last decided to release the games' minimum and recommended system requirements for everyone who wants to play the game on PC.

Following the Resident Evil 7's official Steam page, the PC version of the game won't ask too much of its fans in the way of hardware and software, but it also depends on the current state of players' rigs. Needless to say that the PC specs might change before the game is done, as the current specs are based on the game being still in development.

At the current time, Resident Evil 7's PC requirements at their minimum aren't that demanding, as players will only need an i5-4460 or FX-6300 and a GTX 760 or RX 260x to run the game at 1080p and 30 FPS. The recommended specifications aren't that big a deal as well, as Capcom is asking fans who want a top tier experience to have an i7-3770 and a GTX 960 to play at 1080p and 60 FPS. In an additional note, the materials from Resident Evil 7's Beginning Hour demo will not be in the full game. Fans of the franchise can get a taste for the tone of the release and what kind of scares will be included in the final product, however, everyone who plays on PC and Xbox One is currently incapable of playing the demo, as it's only available on PlayStation 4.

Resident Evil 7 will release on January 24th, 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbone.
