New Insta-Ban System Tested by Riot
-----------The system is being tested in North America, while other policies implemented in Europe.
Riot Games has started testing a system on North American League of Legends servers that is capable of instantly dealing with intentional feeders with a 14 day or permanent ban.
This system is introduced by the studio in order to address negative gameplay behaviors in League of Legends.
"Like our other punishment systems, we’ll start with conservative tests to minimize false positives, and then expand the system to be more aggressive," Lin writes. "As with our other experiments, depending on the results, we’ll roll out similar tests to the other servers."
Riot previously launched several other separate test systems on North American servers, also in a bid to reduce toxic player behaviour, and are ready to be implemented on the European servers.
"After several weeks of testing in North America, we are now ready to start these tests on the European servers," writes Lin. "We'll continue to monitor the results of these tests as we prepare to roll them out in other regions."
Previously Riot revealed Azir, the Emperor of the Sand, as the next champion coming to the game.
