New 7 Ways To Die Trailer Shows Off Split-Screen Co-Op

Telltale Games has revealed a new trailer that shows off the multiplayer capabilities of 7 Ways To Die, highlighting both online and local multiplayer functionality.

Despite the fact that the studio is known most for its own productions, Telltale Games revealed the surprise that it will be publishing a console edition of 7 Ways To Die, a survival horror game that has been in the works by The Fun Pimps for several years on the PC.
Players will find themselves in the role of a survivor that must scrounge the land for supplies in order to build their own base ahead of each seventh night before the zombie hordes come in full force.

The console announcement for 7 Ways To Die was followed by a live action trailer, and so far the game looks like it captured the interest of both survival horror fans and creative builders. Telltale Games has right now released a more in-depth gameplay trailer, which is focused on gory multiplayer action. Players can start logging in and begin building (or raiding) bases together, adding both PvP and a co-op element to the existing PvE world.

The main attraction in the trailer below is not just standard multiplayer gameplay, however, but rather incorporating a couch co-op multiplayer. Most games since the last console generation have favored online multiplayer games as opposed to supporting local multiplayer, so the ability to have two players sit down on the same console and play the game is sure starting to be a big hit among zombie survival fans.

As the last part of the video shows, gamers that are interested on picking up a copy of 7 Ways To Die on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to on June 28th. Since Telltale Games is publishing the console edition of the game, those that pre-ordered the title will also receive character skins for popular The Walking Dead character Lee Everett and Michonne.

7 Ways To Die will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One on June 28. The game is also available now on Steam Early Access.
