Destory All Humans! Coming to PS4

-----------
.....

A remastered version of Destroy All Humans! has appeared briefly on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4, and is rumored to have its official launch soon.

Although no official announcement has been given by the newly rebranded THQ Nordic or Sony, the speculations are true: Destroy All Humans! is making its way to PS4, and it might be as soon as next week's PlayStation Store update. Those gamers who reacted fast were able to purchase it from the PlayStation Store when it was released on the service prematurely, and even though the game has since been removed, a lot is known about what the PS4 re-release of the PS2 cult classic will feature.

First of all, Destroy All Humans! on PS4 won't be a typical PS2 on PS4 game. Instead of just upscaling its resolution and add trophy support, it seems as though Destroy All Humans! is going to be a remaster. The extent of the remaster remains a mystery, but fans should expect somewhat upgraded visuals at the very least.

Since Destroy All Humans! is allegedly a remaster of the PS2 original, it has a price to match. While most PS2 games on PS4 sell for around $10, Destroy All Humans! will cost twice as much when it's launched properly, retailing for $20. Asking that much for a remastered PS2 game is a bit risky, but THQ Nordic must feel as though there's a sufficient amount of value in the game to warrant the price.

Fans of the game will have to wait for an official announcement to learn more about what they can expect from Destroy All Humans! on PS4, but let's hope that it will have enough value to earn decent sales numbers. If Destroy All Humans! has strong sales on PS4, then there's a possibility that THX Nordic might consider on bringing other games in the series to current-gen consoles as well.

Destroy All Humans! is currently available for PS2 and Xbox, and is scheduled to release for PS4 sometime in the near future.
