Dark Souls Migration to Steam Delayed
-----------The migration of PC game saves and achievements should now be finalized in December, not November as was previously planned.
Bandai Namco has revealed that it needs a little more time to finish the migration process of Dark Souls from Games for Windows Live to Steam, and has thus pushed back the completion date to next month. The publisher wrote on the Dark Souls Steam page, saying it needs more time to make sure the migration of PC game saves and achievements is finalized.
"We are working hard to finalize the process to move your Dark Souls: Prepare to Die saves and achievements to Steam," the company said. "We need to conduct additional testing and we are now targeting December to begin this process. We'll have more information in the coming weeks. Thank you very much for your patience!"
Previously, Bandai Namco and From Software revealed that Dark Souls II is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in April 2015. The package will be called Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, and it will also be available on PC.
