DICE Asks Players To Help it Create a New Community Map
-----------DICE will start with a "blank canvas," and fans will get to decide what final form it takes.
Last year, Battlefield developer DICE teased that it plans to offer even more Battlefield 4 DLC, but at the time, didn't say much about the form this content would take. Now the studio has revealed that it will give Battlefield fans a chance to build Battlefield 4's next map together with DICE.
"You will get to shape a playable map based on your input and expertise on what makes a fun multiplayer level," developer DICE LA wrote on the Battlefield website.
DICE will start with a "blank canvas," and fans will get to decide what final form it takes. This map will be tested and tweaked on Battlefield 4's Community Test Environment by Battlefield 4 Premium subscribers.
Players will submit their feedback regarding the map directly to DICE LA. n addition, the studio will share "behind-the-scenes details" of what exactly it takes to build a Battlefield 4 multiplayer map from the ground up.
The "Community Map" will be released for all Battlefield 4 players across console and PC as a free download. You can submit your feedback for this new map right now through the Battlefield 4 forums.
