BioShock Launches for iPhone/iPad for $15

2K launches mobile version of BioShock, and says that is a "true AAA gaming experience."

The acclaimed Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC first-person shooter BioShock is now available on the iOS platforms for $15.

BioShock for iOS devices brings the "full experience" of the original game to mobile devices, and features touch controls and Bluetooth game controller support.

2K describes BioShock for iOS as a "true AAA gaming experience." The game is compatible with iPad Air, iPad Mini 2, iPad 4, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, and the iPhone 5 and features Game Center support.

BioShock was originally released in 2007 for Xbox 360 and PC, with the PlayStation 3 version following the next year. The latest game in the series is last year's BioShock Infinite.

After this year's closure of Irrational Games, 2K announced that the future installments in the series would be developed by 2K Marin.
