Twin Sector
-----------Twin Sector
A post-apocalyptic world. Into the deep of the earth itself is located one massive bunker where the remains of mankind are placed and put into artificial cryogenic sleep. They should be awoken and re-emerge on the surface once the earth is decontaminated and becomes habitable again. But will they succeed? It's up to you. You are Ashley Simms and you are the only one who could be awoken from the cryogenic sleep, at least that is what you have been told by O.S.C.A.R. the main AI communicating program that had awoken you. You have only ten hour or so to solve the problem which is a malfunction and failure in the life support system for the process of the artificial cryogenic sleep for the survivors of the apocalypse. With this you become the only individual capable of saving mankind. Your task is to repair the broken main generator of the subterranean bunker system in order to reestablish the station's functionality. But there are yet unknown forces trying to prevent you from succeeding at all costs. They come in a form of some weird electric balls that actually can freak you out which gives the game a slightly soft taste of some kind of low-level horror game. The other form are some kind of AI sensory machine guns which actually fire some kind of electrically powered balls. This is a puzzle game but, unlike The Turing Test which we mentioned earlier, Twin Sector has a higher freedom of organising the objects that you can manipulate, which gives the game more 'physical' work for doing than psychological. It comes in set of 15 levels where at some point Ashley discovers one secret that fully changes her primary task (similar to The Turing Test, a copied idea some critiques say). Actually the task is the same but she reveals the enemy. At the end she reaches to the mainframe of the program O.S.C.A.R. and there her task ends.
There have been spotted some negative critiques about Twin Sector but, we must admit that the game still has its own story and hardness that give the player a challenging experience.
