Doom System Requirements revealed
-----------Week before the release of the new Doom shooter, Bethesda has decided to announce the official system requirements and prepare the fans from all around the world.
The new Doom game arrives next Friday, which appropriately for the tittle, is also Friday Thirteenth. Given the theme and brutality of this series, people assigned for the marketing obviously have received a great award for this idea.Bethesda armed gamers with the minimum and recommended system requirements to succesfully charge into this battle of gore and add a new word for butchering demons from hell. The requirements are the following:
Minimum System Requirements
- OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 8.1 or 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5-2400 or AMD FX-8320
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 670 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB
- RAM: 8 GB
- 55 GB of free space
Recommended configuration
- OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 8.1 or 10
- Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-8350
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 970 4GB or AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB
- RAM: 8 GB
- 55 GB of free space
Two days before the release, all those who have registered will be able to preload the game on May 11th, one hour after midnight. The retail release of Doom will be in the form of a single disc and will require an additional 45GB of game files to be downloaded from Steam servers.
The developers have also confirmed that “Doom” will have a SnapMap game editor, for those who want to create some content that can be shared online. PC players will have and extra feature like the Ultra Nightmare Quality setting, just like the Lead Project Programmer Billy Khan teased on his twitter.
