Update for No Man's Sky Will Fix Crashes & Help Players Load Broken Saves
-----------Hello Games has released a new patch for its space exploration and survival title No Man's Sky, which provides various bug fixes and helps players load corrupted save files.
However, Hello Games has stayed determined that it has been working hard to give No Man's Sky fans a huge number of fixes for all of the title's bugs and problems, which has led the studio to its release of Update 1.09 for both the PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.
As stated by the developer, the latest patch is going to address a list of bugs and crashes, but also will help players load save files that used to be corrupted.
As mentioned in the first lines of the change log for No Man's Sky's full patch for Update 1.09, "The game is now much more robust at recovering corrupted save files." Moreover, the developer listed a fix for an issue that involves a pre-order ship bug which made players to get stuck in their second galaxy after never getting the Antimatter blueprint for hyperdrive. As hello Games explains, it's no longer possible for that to occur.
In addition, No Man's Sky's Update 1.09 also makes some aspects of the gameplay a tad more difficult. For instance, fans are no longer able to destroy a Gek factory door with just one grenade. Not to mention, if one actually takes out a door, their wanted level is now definitely going to rise, it doesn't matter the power of players' multi-tools.
Plus, different elements of the latest patch for No Man's Sky make it harder for players to lose their resources. This can be achieved through specific alterations such as the developer not allowing one from opening crates while having a full inventory, or by fixing a problem coming from the transferal of items between exosuits and starships.
