Titanfall 2 Beta Won't Be Available For PC
-----------Respawn Entertainment explains in a news post that Titanfall 2's upcoming beta won't be available to PC gamers, in order to keep some aspects of the game a secret.
Ever since the current generation consoles launched and games becoming heavily online dependent, developers have decided to arrange closed and open betas where they can test their games with players. Sometimes these betas feature only small parts of content, but it's enough for players to satisfy their thirst for the game and developers developers to troubleshoot their servers and game engines.
As betas have now turned into tradition for first-person shooter games, players are getting excited for the upcoming Titanfall 2 beta. Well, at least console gamers. It seems that Titanfall 2 beta will only be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. PC gamers are going to be left out this time.
Looks like the team at Respawn has noticed that PC players want to review the code that comes with game betas to see what mysteries they can unravel about the upcoming title. To prevent that from happening with Titanfall 2's single player campaign, they've decided to hold off opening the beta to PC gamers.
Hopefully this means the Titanfall 2's campaign is going to be stronger than those found in many other FPS titles. Normally, single-player offerings such as these are run-and-gun-fests that greatly lack in captivating storyline, interesting characters, and worthwhile gameplay.
Although, taking into consideration the fact that the first Titanfall title didn't have a single-player campaign, and the Respawn Team is controlled by former Call of Duty developers, players may not want to get their hopes up too much. With that said, hopefully the developer can surprise fans and give them a narrative that captures and excites players.
Titanfall 2 is scheduled to launch on October 28th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
